WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

THE MISSION

To provide a psychologically informed space that is focused on creative wellness as a means of creating growth and connection.

We value inclusion, respect, curiosity and openness.

We aim to protect the sanctuary of our space.

We see the importance of intentional process, experiential learning, play, and experimentation which we continue to promote in our studio offerings.

We hold space for creative thinking, symbolism, and existential exploration in everything we curate.

At CREO, we believe creativity is essential to well-being. Creative wellness is how we care for the whole self through thoughtful, and explorative making. It’s an invitation to slow down, get curious, and reconnect — with ourselves, with others, and with what feels meaningful.

We center the creative process over the outcome. Creative wellness isn’t about perfection or expertise; it’s about presence. Through art, writing, hands-on workshops, and shared experiences, creativity becomes a way to reflect, restore, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface.

Creative wellness at CREO is deeply rooted in community. We create spaces where people feel welcomed and supported, where conversation and creativity exist side by side, and where showing up as you are is enough. When we create together, we build connection, empathy, and understanding.

For us, creative wellness is not about becoming an artist — it’s about honoring creativity as a lifelong practice that nurtures balance, resilience, and care. It’s a way of living with intention, curiosity, and openness — both in the studio and beyond.

The educators and facilitators who teach workshops at CREO are passionate makers, thoughtful explorers, and generous collaborators.

Individuals who bring not only skill, but soul to every session. They are artists, writers, practitioners, and innovators who believe that creativity is a shared journey worth exploring together.

These instructors represent a diverse spectrum of disciplines and lived experiences. Some are seasoned visual artists whose studio practices have shaped local and national conversations. Others are emerging voices with fresh perspectives and experimental approaches. What unites them all is a commitment to authenticity, curiosity, and mentorship.

Whether it's an art class, meditation group, book club, or music workshop - each facilitator understands that members are coming in with a story and that story will show up in their work somewhere in the space. We work to create a real sense of authenticity in these experiences to ensure each person has the freedom to come as they are and leave expanded in some way.
