Yoga Nidra—often called yogic sleep—is a guided meditation practice designed to take you into the deepest layers of rest without ever falling fully asleep. In this class, students are led through a slow, intentional journey of breath awareness, body scanning, visualization, and nervous system restoration.
This session is designed to help participants:
-Release built-up tension from the body and mind
-Shift out of survival mode and into deep relaxation
-Reset the nervous system and support better sleep
-Cultivate inner awareness, gratitude, and emotional clarity
-Connect to an intention (Sankalpa) for the year ahead
Using soft music, grounding cues, and a trauma-informed approach, I’ll guide everyone into a place where the body can finally rest and the mind can soften. No movement or yoga experience is required—students will spend most of the class supported by props in a comfortable reclined or resting position.
What to Expect:
-Opening grounding + breathwork
-Personal intention-setting
-A full 35–45 minute Yoga Nidra journey
-Gentle sound elements (optional: bowls, chimes—only if allowed by studio)
-Slow return to the body and space
