Paper Making with John Paul Jackson

  • CREÓ 748 East 12th Street Houston, TX, 77008 United States (map)

Houston visual artist Jonathan Jackson has spent the past five years mastering the art of handmade paper—creating sheets as delicate as standard paper and sculptural forms up to four inches thick. In this hands-on workshop, he will share his unique techniques so you can make your own paper using simple materials like a kitchen blender, recycled paper scraps, dryer lint, and water.

All materials are provided by the artist, and participants will receive take-home items so they can continue their papermaking practice at home. Come explore the creative possibilities of pulp, texture, and transformation through this sustainable and expressive art form.
